Hi guys thanks for reply, the 1st unit was installed in November 2014 by a installer who purchased the worcster bosch boiler and radiators from yourselves.
The unit broke this January (plastic slide switch broke) and I wrongly assumed that it was no longer cover by the guarantee. Your web page was the cheapest for the new part and your shop is local so it was a no brainer to get it from you guys. It was only when I opened up the box that I read the guarantee card and saw that it's covered for 2 years not 1
Good job it was only £42 I wasted just have to chalk this one down to experience
