I was updated by email and telephone, on changes to entry restrictions to Jersey, and accommodation, very efficiently. I actually stayed at the Revere Hotel, not the Stafford.

It is difficult as we recover from Covid and getting staff into low paid hospitality jobs will be difficult and shortages of staff will have consequences. However the hotel needs a wake up call....
