Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you are disappointed with the service we provided. The fee came from the pension you were using to buy your annuity. We are usually able to beat rates quoted elsewhere but in this instance the rate had expired so we were unable to better it. Ruth Richards, Head of Retirement
