Sorry to say, not happy with the jars received! I was expecting 4 jars with plastic lids for my kefir but the lids were metal with 4 pieces of material & elastic bands! ☹️

Hi,
I can only apologise but it looks like the manufacturer has changed the lids on these jars. They are however still suitable for kefir or Kombucha as the lids are plastic lined and stainless steel. We have amended the product description to reflect the new lids.
Our jars are all supplied with a brew cloth and elastic band so that you can choose between an open or closed brew as some brews (kombucha for example needs to be an open brew).

there was a problem with production which meant they couldn’t fulfil my order. They dealt with this very well and promptly. So top marks for customer service. Very nice Kombucha too - my first time...
I was very happy with the customer service. The kefir grains arrived in a well sealed package quickly with detailed instructions.
The website contains lots of information, which I need as I am new...

Lovely lovely kefir, but oh, the amount of plastic packaging it came in! acres of bubble wrap around it in a too-large box. get with it guys...

All of our bubble wrap is biodegradable as are the packing nuts and other than that we use paper based products so there is no actual plastic packaging it is all fully biodegradable. We do pack everything very well , as we are aware of how disappointing it is when orders are damaged in the post. So whilst it may seem like there is a lot of packaging it is there to make sure everything arrives in one piece and it is all fully biodegradable.

Thanks for reply Marcus- but afraid this bubble wrap and plastic film definitely wasn't biodegradable, I checked the symbols carefully, maybe you ran out? But do appreciate that it arrived securely!
