We do not recommend any insurer at all, since the cheapest insurer is different for everyone. Some insurers pay for advertising - Allianz, QBE, GIO, AAMI - so the service can be free.

As long as you use the same information as AAMI, prices will match. This is a legal requirement. I looked at your calculation and could see no obvious problems with it. Does AAMI know you have 4 demerit points? Sometimes an insurer is using old information, particularly when it is a renewal. Check that the information AAMI used matches the information you put in the calculator.

This is not a sponsored site. We are independent and all prices provided are the legal prices. We are not allowed to show anything different. The QBE price may have varied because of demerit points, or because your calculation shows no green slip, yet the vehicle is comprehensively insured. Make sure your calculation uses the same information as QBE and prices will match.
