The quote did not make it clear whether the Fund Levy was included. If it did not then the quote received was more expensive that the one that I have got from my current insurer

Fund Levy has to be included, by law. You can find it on your Results page, under Insurer details, by clicking on the arrow next to the insurer. Quotes should be the same, wherever you get them. Make sure your current insurer has up to date information and it's the same as you used in the calculator.

All companies are in the calculator and all prices are actual regulated prices. There are only 6 green slip insurers. Some companies operate under other names, such as Apia for GIO. Hope this helps you.
