Good price on Heathrow to Newark for Xmas
Got a price from Heathrow to Newark with United direct, over Christmas, that was nearly £200 cheaper than anything else I found! E-tickets arrived within a few hours.

Hello,
We are very sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience and we regret any inconveniences these issues might have brought to you. This is certainly not the level of customer service and user experience that we expect for our clients.
We can see on our system that you requested a name correction, which we did complete within 48 hours. We apologise for the behaviour of our team member and assure you that this is an isolated incident. Your feedback has been taken very seriously and will be passed on to the Head of Customer Services to look into the matter further and do some due diligence.
Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We are extremely sorry to hear about the inconvenience that you faced after booking your flights with us.
We were trying to reach out to check if you were aware that the tickets booked on your reservation were with hand baggage only. In case you needed checked-in baggage, you could purchase it with us prior to ticket issuance, or directly with the airline once the tickets are issued. You could also book it with the airline once you get to the airport. The latter might be a bit dearer than what we have quoted.
This was not an up-sell on our behalf - more so as an extension of customer service so that you are fully aware about the limitations of the fare offered for your reservation.
Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
