Flydirect is a great service, and the flights themselves were great.
Hotel staff tried hard to resolve our problem.

The delay was unfortunately due to the crew reaching their permitted flying hours, meaning the flight could not operate until the necessary crew rest requirements had been met. This is a requirement outside of our control and, while we appreciate the disruption this caused, the safety of our passengers must always come first.
We appreciate your comments regarding the communication during the delay. We understand how frustrating it must have been to be waiting at the airport without clear information, particularly after such an early start. We will pass your feedback on to our airline partners so that the handling and communication of any future disruption can be reviewed.

Flights, transfers and hotel all great.
Our problem with the room was eventually resolved and we love the direct flights, so will be booking again next year.

We did get a drinks round but no snack with it.
