This matter has been addressed and the Heating Engineer who visited you is no longer with the company. But please be assured that Fischer does not believe in the "Salesman" approach, and we understand our customers don't either. Fischer Heating Engineers are trained to an extremely high standard and we certainly do not endorse a "hard-sell".

You mentioned that you felt the cost was much higher than in Germany. However, this statement is quite misleading and you are incorrect on this point. To clarify, the cost is actually cheaper in the UK - if you would like to be furnished with a copy of the German price list one can certainly be supplied.
