Thank you for your review. I have fed your comments to our butchers and due to the nature of the product varying all the time depending on the size and shape of the beast, it is very difficult to get the exact weight all of the time. We will always refund for the difference in weight if it's under by more than 5%. Most of our packaging is recyclable, except for the boxes for our frozen items as we have not been able to yet source an equivalent in quality and durability. Please be assured that we are constantly on the lookout to find this alternative as we would like to be 100% environmentally friendly.

We contacted you on Monday to explain that you had placed your order late on a Thursday night and on Friday your product was not available in the market. We do not work weekends which is why we specify that we don't deliver on Sundays or Mondays. Your order was dispatched at the earliest time for the price you paid. If you wanted a specified date this will cost £11.95, £7.99 is our standard which is specified at 2-3 days delivery. We do though try and send out earlier than this if we can. From buying your product on Monday afternoon to your delivery of the product the next day, it was less than 24 hours. Our quality checks are very stringent and if customers have any issues we ask them to email us at support@finefoodspecialist.co.uk with images or to call us on 02076272553. This way we can resolve any issues or problems with orders.

Due to the intense weather/ heat we have been experiencing some of our fruit and veg have not survived as well in our packaging.
