We are delighted you have such wonderful memories of your time in Sicily - and especially that you enjoyed the food so much. Yes, mid-October this year was hotter than we all anticipated, but in many ways we must be grateful for those beautiful sunny days. And yes, of course, we do hope you get to return to Sicily soon!

So glad to hear that you enjoyed seeing all the wonderful things in Sicily and that the cooking class was also worthwhile. We are only sorry that we didn't manage to get you to the top of Etna, but as I think we explained separately, it was never really in the programme from the beginning and though we would have liked to have made the exception, logistically it just wasn't possible that day.
