Yes, we quite agree, in Sicily, often the simple foods - the pecorino cheese, the bread, olives and tomatoes, eaten al fresco in the heart of the Madonie mountains and washed down with a dash of Perricone or Inzolia, can be some of the best gastronomic experiences.

We are so delighted you enjoyed your holiday with us. It is always a pleasure to travel with congenial company but a real bonus to receive such nice words of thanks afterwards. So glad you enjoyed the tour and we quite appreciate that being the only singleton in the group was maybe not perfect. As we discussed though, at the time of your booking there was also one other single traveller booked on the tour and it was beyond our control that they unfortunately had to cancel the day before the tour departure due to a family bereavement. In our booking process, we do not discriminate between couples or singles and take bookings very much on a first-come, first-served basis, even if this means that on some tours we have a majority of single travellers and our profit-margin is therefore reduced. Nevertheless, we hope this didn't spoil your enjoyment, and we look forward to having you travel with us again in the future.
