there are some things that are boat specific and housereef specific and if we can we try just to fill guests in on the missing details when they swap between the two. In your case at the housereef I believe we also had some people for whom the day was their first diving day with us, and so you had to listen to some duplicate safety details and information and for that I apologise. As for feeling disconnected to the DC, I sympathise with this also, as one of your group also mentioned he was not aware that we didn't have a centre onsite in the Marina Lodge before arriving. We try to make sure that Tour Operators are given the information and that we keep it clear on our websites etc. Marina Lodge has wonderful convenience for boat diving in that there are zero transfers, and we do try to make life easy by offering check in and check out on the boat. We do have nearby hotels with centres onsite however, so for your next trip feel free to contact me so I can help you make an informed choice according to your needs. I apologise that the hotel reception did not have a contact number for us, I can assure you that we give them this information and we also left a welcome letter for your group on your check in day at the hotel reception which contained contact information etc, but we are powerless to ensure that this information is disseminated properly every time as clearly happened in your case. therefore guests staying there do not have to be transferred to a dive centre, the same zero transfer service as if we had a centre onsite. With regards to the missed dives you mentioned, we always allow missed dives to be credited against other services if a day is missed through bad weather etc. In your case, where illness stopped you from diving for a day, we will try to get you diving on another day and when this is impossible we offer a credit voucher or offer you assistance with insurance claims. You never lose your day of diving, which makes us pretty flexible compared to other centres. We actually went even further in your case and allowed the diving day to be credited against third dives, and we're always happy to talk to people in resort to make solutions.
