I have not made a claim but read the reviews from those who did and they were all positive. I have used covermore for my last three overseas trips and my adult children have used it too.

Hi and thanks for your feedback. Our existing medical condition coverage actually allows us to cover more people with Existing Medical Conditions than most travel insurers. We use a complicated medical assessment tool to assess each medical condition on it's own merits and is based on the numerous variables, such as medical condition, recentness of any surgery, medications and even area of travel. If going to the USA for example the risk of large medical expenses is higher so that plays a part of the medical assessment. If travelling to a different destination you may be able to get cover for your cardiac condition. travel can cause extra stresses, change of time zones can cause medication issues etc and this is all taken into account. As an insurer we try to cover as many people as possible for their journey but we do base coverage for existing medical conditions based on the medical risk when travelling.
