Upon looking into these two transactions, it appears 2 separate, different policies were taken out. One of which has now been cancelled down and refunded in full.

In the event of a duplicate booking, the system creates an alert. However, in this case, as the bookings were slightly different, no alert was created.

We are almost always quick to act on and correct thing like this when notified!

I see you had taken out a Single Trip policy, area “Worldwide exc. North America”. This covers 6 continents – the only exception being North America.

A Single Trip allows you to travel around as much as you like, for as long as you like. We have no limits on how many countries / continents you can visit, or how many days you can stay in one country. So, with the policy you had, you would have been covered for 2 continents.

Our Annual Multi Trip policies are designed for people who take multiple short holidays throughout a year. Each trip has a maximum of 30 or 70 days, (depending on the policy) by which time you must return home. Your policy duration was 95 days, therefore you weren't eligible for a a Multi Trip policy.
