I apologise you were unhappy with our auto renewal service. We can see from our renewal records that your renewal was issued via email and also via post on 13/04 as a reminder.
It is mentioned in the renewal that we will automatically renew your policy if we do not hear from you. As we did not hear from you, we automatically renewed same. We do this to ensure our customers have the easiest possible renewal service and also to ensure our customers are never left without cover.
Unfortunately due to an increase in claims and a rise in the associated costs there has been an increase in premiums across the insurance industry this year. We try our best to minimise these increases while still offering a great product and service to suit our customers’ needs.
We want to thank you for renewing your policy. We value your custom and look forward to being of service to you in the future.

Premiums are currently high across the insurance industry due to several factors, such as rising claims costs and a rise in the associated costs across the insurance industry this year which has had an impact on our premiums.
AXA tries to minimize the cost of customers’ premiums by using a number of expense saving measures, such as employing cost effective car repairers, and fighting fraud.

Poor poor poor. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.
Extremely difficult to get through to a representatives. Had to phone back multiple times as details weren’t put in correct. No confirmation email including my insurance info (still not received)....
