Booking on an iPad wasn't the best - trying to select a date was difficult
The booking experience wasn't as easy on an iPad as trying to select the correct date was tricky. I had to use current day until into the booking then change the date.

headach!
useless.... attempted 4 times with 2 different cards and none of them would work, but after calling the booking line the booking and being on phone for over 20 mins.... was accepted with no issues!!!!

When you attempt to make a booking online, the decision of accepting the payment is made by the credit card company. This can often be declined if it is an usual purchase for you or if the address used on the booking does not match where the card is registered to, or for several other reasons. I am sorry that this happened to you.
Telephone bookings are usually more successful in such cases as the team are able to check things like the correct address for you.
I hope that this issue will not detract from your enjoyment on your upcoming Alton Towers break.
