Thank you for your feedback. We have spoken on the phone and discussed the issue and application. As discussed, the correct part to use would have been one with a reinforcing ring round the thread, which enables the thread to be tightened far more, without risk of damaging the socket. I have also ordered, and carried out a quality control check on these items in our stocks, and we have found them all to meet the required specifications.
