We have sent you a replacement pen, but would point out that the nib of this pen is made of a soft metal alloy. This is the reason that you can write with it, but this also makes the nib delicate, and we do point out on the web site that if you drop the pen there is a danger that the nib will break off. Just like if you drop something made of glass it will probably break.
