My experience was fine, however I over heard several folk saying that the boats were running late because there were so few ferries that they were very busy and there was a difficulty finding seats...
Very impressed with the friendly staff. We had booked a later crossing but had no trouble being allowed to go earlier.
Lovely breakfast and plenty of seats.
Late with poor excuse - completely profit driven with little thought for customers many of whom are regular

Thank you for your review. To answer your question, the price varies depending on demand for each sailing so the general rule is to book as early as possible to get the best price. Leaving it late to book will inevitably cost more if you are travelling at popular times. On the quieter sailings the price will remain low or not increase as quickly. You can book any 2014 sailing at this years price if you do so before the end of this year. In addition, your partner should consider applying for a Travel Card which gives vehicle discounts of up to 20%. In the meantime, many thanks for choosing Red Funnel.
