Helpful staff, food expensive overall experience good
Ferry was on time. It would have been helpful when arriving at East Cowes, if an announcement could have been made advising passengers that the floating bridge to West Cowes was out of service.
I do not understand the pricing structure. Why should a return journey cost more the longer there is between the 2 trips? There can be no reason for this.

many thanks for the feedback. The reason is staying visitors are generally prepared to pay more than day-trip customers as the travel element is still proportionally a small part of the the total holiday cost.
If we remove the duration element from the fare structure it would mean that day-trip fares would unfortunately increase to offset cheaper short-break and extended stay fares. Many other modes of transport also incorporate a duration element so we are not unique. We hope this answers your question.
We were very pleased to be able to get onto the earlier ferry although there did appear to be a problem with our booking, however the customer assistant sorted the issue and apologised for the delay....
