Thank you for submitting feedback on your OverBoard Bag. We use galvanized metal for the zips to protect against corrosion, but if they aren't cleaned after use and come into contact with salt water then they can become damaged. Your bag was 2 years out of the 1 year manufacturing warranty offered at the time of purchase, and the product was in a very bad condition caused by wear and tear and not faults, but we still replaced the bag as a gesture of good will.
