Hi Elaine, i am sorry for the delay in delivering your items, we have used DHL for the past few years and generally, they have been good. As stated we clearly mark everything up with labels stating the contents are perishable, request an AM delivery and pack well in wool insulation to keep everything in good condition but this does not negate the fact that the delivery was late. We are reviewing our delivery partners in the next few weeks and hope to be working with a new courier for Christmas 2021.
Service delivery was excellent . The turkey was below standard and for. 6kg bird it looked skinny and not as ku h breast meat as I would have expected

Hi, thankyou for your feedback, the Norfolk Black turkeys are, as you may well be aware an old traditional breed and as such have a longer/narrower breast compared to a bronze turkey which has been bred to have more breast meat. The true traditional Norfolk blacks like we rear (others may be called N Black but are mainly cross breeds) generally have a more gamier flavour than the bronze breed and less breast meat. We will be reviewing the breeds that we rear for this year to see if we can improve on them.
