Excellent service from Morton's. Arrived via overnight courier on the correct day. The bird was very well packed and kept cool.

Hi Kristie, i am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your cockerel, i can assure you this was not an old cockerel. We use slow-growing strains for our cockerels and these boys do an awful lot of roaming so compared to a normal "free-range" our birds have run the extra mile. We finish these birds at 15 wks old and age them in our cold store for 10-14 days to help mature the meat further. Cockerel sent by courier, was well packed with ice packs and wool insulation. Cooked well and was very tasty, much better than turkey in my opinion. Would certainly buy again.

Hi Helen, the Norfolk Black turkeys are quite delicious but a devil to rear, as much as we try you either get a small hen bird or a large stag bird and we do struggle with the weights in between. We would rather give our customers a larger bird than they ordered than to give something too small. Rob
