Dear Madam,
I am sorry to hear that you felt the cost of your unit ‘crept up’. However, I think that your comments are somewhat unfair, as the increase in cost which occurred happened through no fault of our own.
Our prices are transparent and, unlike many of our competitors, we do not have any ‘hidden extras’. The price a customer pays when they move in is exactly as we quote, unless they need a different size unit on the day. If that happens we will gladly change the booking to a bigger or smaller unit, without penalty.
I have looked over your account and can see you had reserved a locker; the smallest and cheapest space we offer. Yet, when you arrived it was clear you had underestimated the size of the unit you needed. We were happy to change your booking from the small locker to a room large enough to hold all your items. The larger room cost more than the locker, but I’m sure you’d agree this is fair. We are confident that the price you paid was much cheaper than if you’d chosen one of our local competitors.
I hope my response helps to clarify why you ended up paying more than you first anticipated. We look forward to keeping your things safe and sound for many months and years to come.
