Dear Customer,
We are so sorry your parcel has not arrived in time. We dispatched this on time and on an express service. Although the destination was a Scottish Island, the parcel should have arrived on Thursday. It's so frustrating that it did not.
Apologies for the fact that the email you sent on Thursday night has not been replied to yet. As this is a bank holiday Easter weekend our team were on holiday on Good Friday. We are normally very quick to get back to our customers.
I have sent you an email directly with your tracking number and also a gesture from us to you as recompense for the fact that your parcel did not arrive on Thursday.
