As long as you use the same information as AAMI, prices will match. This is a legal requirement. I looked at your calculation and could see no obvious problems with it. Does AAMI know you have 4 demerit points? Sometimes an insurer is using old information, particularly when it is a renewal. Check that the information AAMI used matches the information you put in the calculator.

Your Isuzu is a light goods vehicle, not a motor car. Once you change the classification in the calculator, you will get the same price as the insurer is using.
