Hello Matthew. I'm so sorry these costs appeared to be hidden during your booking process. We do endeavor to make sure everything is as transparent as possible in the "Booking Guide" below the availability calendar, which includes charges for dogs, the booking fee and the Housekeeping Bond. As for your reference to the Housekeeping Bond verses the £40 Waiver: these options were a result of guest preference and never designed to be a hidden cost. We rarely ever charge for damages and never quibble over small things like glasses etc (also explained in the Booking Guide), so please don't see this as a threat.
