In relation to your comment about the process being slow, unfortunately the airline wanted to defend your claim so we had to issue court proceedings. When we issue court proceedings, this can take in excess of 6 months, which was highlighted in the flight claim process chart we emailed to you on 29th March 2016. The airline filed a defence and so we had to get a judgment entered against them, which resulted in settlement being concluded on 7th October, 6 months and 10 days after you first submitted your claim with us on 27th March. You received payment 4 days later on 11th October.
