Hi Christopher, thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear you have had a problem with your blinds. We recommend all customers get in touch with us if they experience any issues with their blinds so we can try to rectify it for them. As such, I will reach out to you today to find out what has occurred and to find a solution for you. The plastic end tabs that are used to hold the blind in place under the gasket are made from plastic to avoid damaging the door or glass. Metal or other materials may scratch the glass or dent any door frames and so we have found plastic is the best material for this component. These are easily replaceable and I can get some sent out to you today to replace the broken ones. To make it easier to slide the end tab under the gasket we recommend a dab of washing up liquid to lubricate the end tab as it is moved into place. Kind regards, Joe | DotcomBlinds
