Thank you so much for your kind words and review! You're absolutely correct for taking advantage of our free fabric samples, they give you a chance to see the fabric in person before ordering so you can make sure you get it absolutely right.

Hi Catherine, thank you for your review. I'm sorry the replacement louvre slats were not as expected. I can see you ordered the Palermo fabric which is a dimout fabric and naturally very thin and relatively see-through (to allow light to pass through the fabric instead of blocking it out completely). A free fabric sample would have demonstrated the thickness of the fabric and opacity and you would have been able to see this in person before placing your order. We recommend all customers take advantage of our free fabric samples before placing an order to avoid disappointment. Kind regards, Joe | DotcomBlinds

Hi Susanne, thank you for your review. As mentioned in the email update sent to you, we experienced a delay in stock arriving with us which resulted in a delay in producing your order. We updated to you as often as we could and provided you with all the information available to us. As the shipment got closer to arriving the delivery date shifted a couple of times but we kept you informed every step of the way.

Hi there, thank you for your review. As mentioned in response to your previous reviews left for us on the internet, please see the below summary of reasons why the fabric of your blind is less than the width you gave us. If we had made the fabric to the width measurement you gave us, the blind wouldn't fit in your recess. When we add the brackets and mechanism and pin end to the blind it would have been wider than the recess. As a result, the measurements you give us are the bracket-to-bracket measurements and the fabric will always be 35mm smaller than this width (because we account for the bracket, mechanism and pin end). This means the blind fits within the recess. Roller blinds, components and deductions differ from supplier to supplier and so we can not speak for the other blinds in your home, but based on our 30 years of experience, hundreds of satisfied customers and numerous five-star reviews, I can confirm the deductions made are correct, that the blind you received is correct and any remake would have resulted in the same sized fabric.
