While we try to keep communication consistent, your messages came through last-minute when your independently booked flight was cancelled, and this continued over the weekend. During weekends and out-of-hours, different staff will reply to our travellers to ensure we provide timely responses, even if it means hearing from more than one person. We did suggest reaching out directly to the local supplier because of the labour disruption affecting your flight. Occasionally, our local partners do ask travellers to call ahead, it may feel unusual, but it’s a way of ensuring the on-the-ground team has the most accurate information and can be very important in situations where plans are changing. Regarding the tour details, we completely understand that the lack of detail did create uncertainty and frustration. We’re working on improving how we share this kind of information from our local team for future travellers.
