Very helpful. I tried to book on line using a code from the Mail On Sunday. This was not accepted so I rang the given number and it was easily sorted including the discount.

When I listed online the gadgets I wanted covered by my travel insurance, I was not sent a confirmation of the gadgets I had listed so I have no idea whether the list has been received by the insurance company and have no reassurance that the gadgets listed are covered. Why no confirmation email detailing the insured gadgets?

Hello Amanda. I am sorry to hear that you experienced so many issues in regards to your policy with us. I have listened to the calls involved and can confirm that you were on hold for no more than 2 minutes as our sales advisor's called you back when the calls were accidentally disconnected. I also understand that the sales advisor offered you gadget insurance which was declined on the basis of having the standard 'Valuables' cover under 'Personal Luggage'. This meant that you did not need to declare which gadgets are to be covered. I can also confirm that the advisor informed you of the 60 day condition that comes with the gift card. We are an email based company and we advise our customers' that they do need to check their spam/junk folder for their travel insurance documents / gift cards if not received. We do tend to place your certificate in the main body of the email as we found that too many attachments meant that some email domains had security/character restrictions which resulted in policy documents not being delivered.
