Good morning Linda -- We are sorry to hear the appointment was moved 4 times, so will be investigated further as to why that happened. Thank you for your patience when we eventually reached you. Having consulted with the technician who made the visit, he has confirmed that costs were advised as they always are after a survey before any work was carried out. This was for a mini service which included checking all screws were safe, cleaning out the guides, checked all springs and cables, lubricated where necessary and checked the door would close manually as was automated. Good morning -- Having consulted with the technician who made the visit to your property, we do not offer a key cutting service so that we could gain entry to the garage door. Our only solution would be to technically break into the door and supply a new handle with keys. We had the parts on the van to do the job, but obviously completely your choice if you wish to proceed. Apologies we were not able to assist on this occasion. Kind Regards, The Dawes Doors Team
