Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have conducted further investigations into your complaint and have found that we were advised that the vehicle could start with a jump and thus a battery would be present. Our terms & conditions explicitly state that in order to pay the quoted price it must be complete and intact with no major parts missing. In light of the battery not being present we reduced the price paid accordingly. We hope this clears any potential confusion.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Lynda. We pride ourselves on offering a prompt and efficient vehicle collection service which offers fast payment. We have conducted further investigations to get to the bottom of this issue for you. Firstly, regarding the collection of your vehicle we were notified of the required collection on Friday 31st in the afternoon and got back to you on Tuesday 4th and had the car collected on Thursday 6th. Unfortunately, our team don't work weekends and in result wouldn't be able to make contact. In hindsight, we perhaps could have called you Monday but due to an influx of vehicles requiring collection this opportunity didn't present itself. Regarding payment, you accepted a three day bank transfer as your preferred payment option which was met. The payment hit your account three days after and wouldn't have been present when you looked prior to this. We hope this provides a satisfactory explanation as to your experiences. We've been collecting cars for 90+ years and have many generations of satisfied customers.
