Thank you for your feedback, it is my understanding your issues have been addressed by our complaints team. To summarise, the complaints team did apologise for an oversight at the start of the transaction. However, once you were made aware you decided to continue with the sale. Although your previous buyer was fully proceedable, later in the process, you decided to accept a higher offer from another buyer thereby starting the whole process again. I can understand this may have been frustrating but the branch were only taking instructions from you, the vendor. I am sorry you feel this matter has still not been resolved and as per our final response letter, you are within your rights to take the matter to the Property Ombudsman.

It doesn't surprise me that you misrepresent the issue so drastically, it's been my experience every step of the way with you. Here's what happened: 1) I asked only for offers that had no related sale. No chain etc. 2) The buyer whose offer I accepted was relying on land sale to find the deposit which you never told me. 3) After 9 weeks of waiting for the buyer to come up with the money I instructed you to go back to market. You lie and say he was processable but he wasn't. Perhaps he got the deposit at some point but you never informed me of this. 4) I incurred council tax and other costs totalling £1000 and you've washed your hands of it. 5) Regulations require you to check the existence and source of deposit funds and you didn't. Stop lying.
