The Cultural Experience Recensioni

Thank you for your kind review. We're delighted you enjoyed Wellington in Portugal as much as Wellington in Spain, and that the organisation and expertise of our accompanying historian helped make it another memorable experience. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We're delighted you enjoyed the tour and that both our guide and Fi helped make your holiday so enjoyable and relaxing. It's also great to hear you appreciated the hotels and dining. We appreciate your feedback about the pace of the itinerary and will certainly take your comments into consideration.

We are sorry that you found the tour disappointing, Louis. The evidence for Battle of Teutoburg Forest on site is archaeological and again has to be reconstructed to some degree. The only area of the battle where it can be definitely identified is the area displayed next to the museum. Beyond this the land is not accessible and interpretation would be speculative. Also, of course, the landscape has been massively altered in the last 2,000 years.... the great bog that formerly existed is drained and canalised. Imagination is needed to perhaps a greater extent than on more recent battle sites. The archaeology throughout consisted of soil changes and naturally is not visible, so on all sites we are looking at interpretative reconstructions of structures on the original sites. I always take pains to ensure I say this repeatedly during the tour.

Thank you for your detailed review. We're delighted you enjoyed the tour and that both the guide and Tour Manager helped make it such an informative and enjoyable experience. It's especially pleasing to hear the group got on so well. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the Paris Metro changes, which we'll take into account for future tours. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you on another tour soon.
