Dear Mr. Bishop, We sincerely apologise if you found the renewal process stressful. On the afternoon of the 27th, you spoke with one of our agents regarding a reduced renewal price. Following this, we reached out to our underwriters to request a revised rate on your behalf. Our insurers typically operate within a 48-hour turnaround for such requests. Unfortunately, due to the weekend falling within this period, the process took longer than expected. We were able to secure a better price for you; however, due to the high call volume on Monday afternoon, we were unable to contact you directly to advise you of the reduction. Instead, we sent a text notification confirming that your new price had been updated on the online renewal portal. This option allows you to renew at your convenience while also saving you £10 in the process. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know if you have any further questions or if we can assist you in any way.
