I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your cockerel this year, you should have been sent the size you ordered, i know we had plenty of 3kg birds so this should have been correct, please do get in touch if it was underweight and we can look into it for you. We use a slow growing French breed for our cockerels, these grow slower than conventional birds and are bred for their flavour compared to the readily available commercial birds that are bred to grow as quickly as possible, we think the slower growing breeds that run free range have a far superior taste.

Excellent selection for small family group. Very good quality, taste & selection. Arrived promptly & well packaged. I would definitely use them again & recommend them to others.
