I am so pleased you are happy with your Euonymus Alatus plants and I hope they are settling into their new home. Euonymus Alatus is a stunning award-winning plant. It looks its best in autumn when its dark green leaves turn an amazing scarlet and crimson. It also produces reddish/purple fruits in autumn that will attract lots of hungry birds. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. And I hope your Yew are all in the ground and are settling into their new home. Yew is a slow growing evergreen conifer that produces red berries during the autumn that will attract hungry birds. Your mixed collection of plants are native, deciduous species, so they will lose their leaves during autumn. I hope your Alder are all in the ground and are settling into their new home. Alder is a native deciduous species that will lose its leaves in autumn. In spring they have long catkins and small, woody cones throughout the autumn. Your Alder will make a wonderful habitat for wildlife such as butterflies and birds, as well as caterpillars, moths and other insects and small bird species. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. And I hope your Red Berberis have settled in to their new home. This is a stunning evergreen hedge plant that has lovely dark purple foliage. It is ideal as an intruder proof hedge due to its thorns. During the Spring lovely yellow flowers flourish and black/blue fruits grow in the Autumnal months. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very chilly winter. In spring lots of new leaves will push through and in the summer they will produce masses of white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. You have ordered so many Lavender pots, I hope you have had a chance to get them in the ground and they are enjoying their new garden. Lavender is a beautiful, fragrant evergreen shrub and from May onwards they will produce lilac flowers that smell amazing and will attract lots of butterflies and bees. Potentilla is a stunning long-flowering shrub and are extremely hardy and can tolerate all kinds of planting conditions. The pretty yellow will flower from June all the way to October.
