Thank you for your feedback. For the original booking our shuttle was not able to find you at your hotel and phone was not answered. Your booking was then rescheduled for October 19th which you accepted. We hope that you enjoyed the tour

They should inform the customer that the "direct" transportation to your chosen hotel is neither direct nor all the way to the hotel. The transfer at the bus hostel was confusing, and the second bus...

Thank you for your feedback - a crash did not happen but our coach had an incident with strong wind pushing it to the side of the road where it met with a loose gravel resulting in it getting stuck and needing replacement. It is regrettable that such an incident happened but glad to report that all passengers were safe.

We were assured by email that there was absolutely no reason for concern about traveling to the South Coast during a “Yellow Weather Alert”. Other vehicles went off the road in the same locale due to severe and high winds. The bus driver admitted it was his fault as he was talking on his cell phone as the high wind grabbed the bus and pushed it off the road we we crashed into a ditch and through a fence. The top window on the bus blew out. The bus driver calmed himself and drove the bus back to a side road where it became stuck in the gravel. Several attempts were made by the local rescue team but they were not able to remove bus from the ditch. It was controlled chaos. People were screaming and crying….we were taken in small groups to a rescue center and then taken by bus back to Reykjavik.The day was a total waste and a terrifying experience. Our money for the wasted trip was refunded but our last day in Iceland was ruined. Perhaps Grayline should be more conservative when it comes to advising tourists regarding weather conditions. Thank you

There was indeed a yellow weather warning for the South East 200km further away from the tour destination and we cancelled our tour to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon but there was never a yellow weather warning for the area of Vik and the Black beach of Reynisfjara, this is documented. Other companies did go out but sudden change in weather and strong winds came as a surprise to everyone. If there had been a yellow warning for the area the roads would be closed for safety. Regrettably as it turned out our bus veered to the side of the road and did not crash, a crash is a devastating occurrence that involves injuries to people and major damage to vehicle, none of that happened. When our coach manager spoke to the driver when the vehicle became to a full stop he heard people clapping and not shouting or screaming. The comments are certainly damaging and will frighten people but your comments will stay. Rest assured that our staff is well aware of safety and will never compromise and/or risk injuries to people or vehicles. Weather can be a challenge in Iceland and we have long experience dealing with that on daily basis. I do wish you well and hope that you may return to Iceland and visit the South in better weather.

Very disappointed!!! Waited outside the hotel to be picked up from 6.30am to be taken to the airport. Bus never turned up, phoned up to ask where it was and was told the bus had been and we wasn't...

Thank you for your feedback - it is regrettable that you missed the shuttle sent for you, gps registry of the shuttle shows that he was on location at 06:38 pickup starting from hotels and tour bus stops at 06:30. The driver reported not finding you unfortunately
