We're happy you managed to change to a bike with suspension, bearing in mind your condition but would reiterate that by most standards this is a pretty even route and hybrid bikes, without suspension, are the standard issue on this itinerary.

Many thanks for the feedback John. Yes, there's no escaping the fact that the road can be pretty busy at times and is best suited to regular cyclists. For many though, the extraordinary experience of cycling this iconic route with its incredible scenery more than compensates.

Our local supplier confirms that tandem bikes are not available and will be clarifying this point with Ricardo.

Many thanks for the feedback Anette and we're sorry that you found it a little harder than expected. We do believe that our 'moderate' rating for this tour is accurate given that we describe our moderate tours as follows: 

'Suitable for regular cyclists, who are used to longer rides with regular climbs.'

That said we agree that elevation charts are also helpful and will ensure these are made available to future customers.

Yes, you can encounter a headwind on hot afternoons approaching Trento and at your welcome meeting you should have been warned of this and advised to start cycling early to avoid it - my apologies if this didn't happen. The loop ride idea has not been suggested before but if we receive more requests we will of course give it due consideration.

If we break up the ferry journey on Lake Garda then customers would lose another day as there is only one ferry a day that travels the length of the lake, so you would not be able to start cycling from Peschiera to Verona until early evening.

The air conditioning automatically turns off if the ambient temperature is sufficiently cool but it can be turned on in individual cabins at the customer's request - I am sorry if you were not informed of this and hope it didn't marr an otherwise enjoyable holiday.
