Thank you for letting us know that the boking system worked well. The Visit Scotland Grading is undertaken independently to their standards; the grade is on quality not style.  We do try to provide informative photographs of the property on the website so we are sorry that the cottage did not meet your expectations.Do please be assured that the owners do take feedback seriously as it does help to maintain standards and ensure any necessary repairs are undertaken as soon as possible.  In this respect if the difficulties that you had with the patio doors and heating had been raised at the time then it might have been possible to sort this out for you during your stay. The heating worked for the guests before and after you, so it is difficult to comment on it.The cottage does have routine maintenance undertaken as necessary and has been completely redecorated internally over the last two years.
