We're sorry to hear that you felt the cover was very expensive for yourself, Newton. Unfortunately as short-term cover is a higher risk than annual cover this is reflected in the price. We do check our prices regularly to ensure we stay competitive. We upload our policies to the Motor Insurance Database (MID) within the legal time frame of 7 days. It's worth remembering that the MID isn't actually proof of insurance, the certificate that we send you immediately after purchase is all the proof that you need.Thank you for your review and for insuring with us.Verity, Customer Services Manager
