We do regularly totally transform CVs for clients - sometimes far more that they anticipate - but we usually find that mere tweaks and updates are never enough, and especially since we deal with original CVs that were not working for the client in the first place. It does sometimes take a bit of a leap of faith to go with a new, more holistic solution, rather than just put a sticking plaster over something that isn't working, but we know from experience that this extra work usually bares more fruits - so is worth the extra effort.

We also fully believe that our CVs are worth the wait, and it’s great to hear that you agree!

We do spend a lot of time on each CV, and it would be nice to cut this down to a similar amount of time as some other companies, however, in our long experience we just know that it’s impossible to get the same quality if you cut corners on timescales.

Inevitably quality does take time, and it’s simply impossible to get the same quality in a fraction of the required time. 

As such we don’t take shortcuts.

Yes, it does take a while longer (and we are upfront about this), but ultimately we do believe the benefits in terms of quality and results far outweigh the 'perceived' advantage of the quickest possible CV. A top CV out-trumps a fast one every time!
