Thank you for your review. I’ve taken a look at your order, and the product purchased was our Great Value Hardwood Bags, which are correctly listed on our website as 100% Silver Birch. These sit separately from our Premium Mixed Hardwood bags that you’ve ordered previously, which is why the burn characteristics feel different this time. Silver Birch naturally burns faster and hotter than mixed hardwood, so we completely understand why the experience hasn’t matched what you’re used to. If you prefer the steadier, longer burn of mixed hardwood, our Premium range would be the best option going forward, and we’d be more than happy to help make sure you select the product that suits your stove and burn style. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share it. Kind regards, Charlotte

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really pleased to hear that you found our team helpful throughout. We’re sorry that the change to kerbside delivery hasn’t been suitable for your property. While our larger palletised orders do now come via Palletline, we can still deliver all of our smaller items, including small bags, firekits, Flamers, kindling and briquettes — through standard parcel couriers who can reach your address without any access issues. If you’d still like to enjoy Certainly Wood products in these smaller formats, we’d be more than happy to help you place an order or recommend the best options based on your needs. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like any assistance. Kind regards, Charlotte

Not as advertised

My complaint dismissed saying they had tried and tested the briquetts. My experience was completely different to theirs

Thank you for your feedback. As discussed, our briquettes are not a comparable product to our kiln dried logs and it appears that your expectation was that they would offer similar heat output for a prolonged time. We have tested our briquettes on several woodburners and achieved the length of burn that we quote, but individual burn time will depend on each user’s woodburner, conditions and burning habits. We feel that our offer of a full refund if you were to return the remaining product to us was fair. We’re sorry if you were unhappy with the way this was handled. Kind regards Certainly Wood
