We are sorry to hear of what has happened, and that you had no reply to earlier emails to us. We have not had reports of issues like this previously, so it is hard to be sure of what has happened. the seat is extendable, so that it is suitable for different widths of boat. We suspect that you may have had this extended a little too far, therefore the seat part was not central to the boat.
