Hi, thanks for the lovely 5 star reviews for both the product and our service. We also appreciate you taking the time to give us some detailed feedback on the areas of service we can potentially improve. On the two area mentioned:
1) Emailed Invoices: These are sent out automatically by the website when an online order is placed. Sometimes these can get blocked by the recipients email account. Technically there is not much we can do here other than send out a manual email copy of the invoice in the fairly rare instance this happens when requested.
2) Delivery timings & progress notice: Since Brexit and Covid there have been some material shortages faced by the industry. In response to this we have allowed 2-3 weeks of buffer in our published lead times. We feel it is better to under promise and over deliver on timings as a general approach. We also give 3 weeks storage free of charge if you need to delay delivery (which can be extended at reasonable notice). We should probably do more to communicate this at the point of order so it's not so much of a surprise when the product is offered for delivery earlier than expected.
