During the website purchase process, as part of the qualification questions, you are asked "Is the vehicle used for hire and reward?", if you had ticked yes to this question, you would not have been able to proceed and purchase a policy. Page 22 of the policy booklet also states that we do not cover vehicles used for private hire services. I can confirm your policy has been cancelled and a full refund issued. Unfortunately it is occasionally necessary to increase prices for our warranty or Roadside Assistance products for inflation and other similar external pressures. The mileage of your vehicle is also taken into account when calculating the premium.
