We are sorry to hear you had issues installing your TP-70. I have checked the instructions included and they are correct. The section in the manual regarding registering sensors only needs to be carried out if you replace a faulty or damaged sensor in the future. The sensors that come in the kit are pre paired to the display. Step 1 of installation is to plug in the display and make sure it is on by switching on the vehicles ignition, this is to ensure that when you screw on the sensors and they wake up they immediately send their pressure readings back to the display, obviously this can only happen if the display is actually plugged in and powered on. If the sensors were installed first and then the display was plugged in and powered on, you would simply need to drive the vehicle for approx 5 – 6 minutes while the sensors send their pressures back to the display. Unfortunately it is not possible for the sensors to be awake continually while the vehicle is parked this is due to battery limitations. The sensors in the TP-70 work in the same way as OEM internal sensors which go to sleep after a period of no wheel rotation. If a tyre has gone completely flat while parked the system wont alert you of this until the wheel sensor awakes from sleep mode by the wheel rotating, this will happen almost immediately the vehicle is moved.
